The Story of Our
Humble Beginning
In God's time, It'll be Our time
On January 24, 2022, Puhon: Philippine Coffee Beans and Delicacies was founded by Puhon's working team comprised of eight (8) individuals, specifically learners under Accountancy, Business, and Management (ABM) strand at Cabuyao Institute of Technology (CI-Tech), with an aim to satisfy the demands and desire of low to upper-income earners, and to promote Filipino cuisine and culture amidst the fame and dominance of foreign cultures revealed from the observation of the founders to the emerging and rapidly growing population of expensive and foreign cuisine food establishments in the Philippines (e.g., Korean and Japanese restaurants).
Moreover, Puhon is a Filipino food and café business located at Nuvali Park, Santa Rosa Laguna, serving one of the best coffee drinks and delicacies one could ever have. It offers budget-friendly Filipino hot and cold coffee drinks locally made from Batangas coffee beans and beverages (e.g. halo-halo, smoothies, hot chocolate, etc.) paired with traditional Filipino delicacies (e.g., bibingka, puto, turon, etc.) for middle-class adolescent students, low to upper middle-income office workers and entrepreneurs, and tourists. The place was accompanied by a relaxing, warm and cozy setting wherein Filipino literature (myths, riddles, legends, novels, short stories, fables, educational and history books, best-selling and fiction books, etc) and games (sungka, game of the generals, politricks, etc.) are available for the entertainment of the consumers dining in.
Mission Statement:
To connect the Filipino culture to every household nationwide by offering budget-friendly exceptional Filipino cuisine and freshly brewed coffees, delivering customers a fresh start of the day with outstanding and professional customer service.
Vision Statement:
To be the leading Filipino food and café business in creating a world where Filipino culture is globally distinguished by serving locally-sourced coffees and delicacies.
